Asia and the Middle East
In the Asia and Middle East region, Dexion is headquartered in brand new offices in Kuala Lumpur,
and also has offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai. These offices are complemented by an
extensive distributor network that spans the region.
Headquarters for the Dexion Group is in Sydney, Australia.
Dexion today aspires to be the first choice provider of commercial workspaces, integrated systems and industrial storage solutions.
In March 2007 Dexion appointed Peter Farmakis, an experienced manager from the steel industry with strong international experience, to lead the next phase of the company's growth. The vision for Dexion today can be summarised in a few powerful words
"...to be better than anyone else... at what we do!"
New Manufacturing and Warehousing Facility to Support Growth
An integral element of the growth strategy for Dexion relates to manufacturing capability and capacity as well our ability to distribute product efficiently throughout Asia and the Middle East.
The new 13,400sqm facility is over double the size of the existing Malaysian plant. Close to the West Port shipping centre in the Klang Valley and is ideally located to service increasing demand from customers throughout Asia and the Middle East. New hand-loaded storage products will also be introduced to complement our strong stable of pallet storage products.
The new facility boasts a state-of-the-art paint line, new roll-forming equipment and 14 loading docks to handle container traffic.
60 Years On ... Solving Problems ... Leading The Way
In 2007, Dexion celebrates its 60th year and we are proud of our rich history. In defining, analyzing and solving problems over 60 years Dexion has put many new ideas into practice, and introduced concepts that have changed the way business is done.
Our problem solving expertise gives Dexion the ability to get better results for customers. Our aim is to make sure that the solution which adds least to the cost of our customers' product or service must also be the one that contributes most to the smooth running of their business.
Of-course, our success has meant that some of our products and ideas have been imitated. But the imitators come and go, and their effectiveness for customers is limited because they have a different focus, or reason for being. It's easy to copy, but far more exciting to invent and lead the way!
